For the temples and museums in the city of Luxor you get the tickets at the counters at the entrance of each site.

On the west bank tickets for the temples, workers village Deir El Medina and some of the noble tombs are available at the ticket office (crossroad behind the Colossi of Memnon, left side). Since mid April 2003 the temple of Hatshepsut Deir El Bahari, the noble tombs Assasif and the Valley of the Queens have own counters, you can buy the tickets only there. And for all tombs in the Valley of the Kings, including the tomb of Ay in the West Valley, are only available at the counter at the entrance of the valley, no longer at the ticket office.
