Location:  
The building of "Senmut" Bed & Breakfast with roof terrace with an unique view at the Nile and garden is centrally located in Luxor.

Distance to the Nile is about 35 metres, the centre of the village El Gezira can be reached in a few minutes walk. There you find shops, restaurants, the ferry to the Eastbank, taxis to the monuments at the Westbank (15 minutes driving), riding stables, internet cafes and bicycles for rent. You can also find a swimming pool closeby.

The concept :
It is a private house which is partially made available for guests . A Bed & Breakfast (also called guesthouse or pension) is usually small, informal, quiet and safe (only the family and the guests are there, it is not a public place). That makes the place very suitable for people who do not like (big) hotels, but also don't want to stay on their own (for example in an apartment).
The guests are always welcome for a chat and/or cup tea and/or some advice. We can help you to organise your trips. Also the owner is a licensed tourguide. "Senmut" hopes to be a "home away from home" for guests who are interested in ancient and contemporary Egyptian culture.

The facilities:
"Senmut" has nine double rooms and one single room.
All the rooms have their own shower, wash basin and toilet. All the double rooms have two single beds (that can be put together) a wardrobe, a dresser and a small sitting group (table with two chairs). Every room is equipped with fan, the rooms at the sunnyside of the building have airconditioning. There is a communal living/dining room and kitchen.
   
It is also possible to rent the whole first floor as a big appartment with living room, dining room, bathroom, kitchen and four double and one single room
A perfect solution for groups or companies.

Meals
Breakfast is included. We can prepare for a reasonably price a home-made evening meal or a small lunch for you.
It is also possible to prepare own meals/drinks in the communal kitchen.

Regular visitors or guests who wish to stay for a longer period, can eligible for reduced rates.
