About five minutes to walk to the public ferry to cross the Nile, in a small, quiet street at the end of the village El Gezira. The apartment is situated in a beautiful new house. Up to now only one apartment on the groundfloor is finished, the second apartment is still under construction.

Equipment:
Two bedrooms with air-condition (one with double bed and private shower and toilet, one with two single beds, two additional beds are possible), living and dining room, kitchen with frige, gas cooker, completely equipped with everything for cooking and meals, bathroom with bathtub and electric water heater and toilet, small garden in front of the house with seatings, national television, no telephone (two Internet Cafes with international telephone lines and fax machine you find in the near centre of the village). All rooms are equipped with ceiling fans. For the practical furnishing modern Egyptian style was chosen.
The name:
The attractiv painted columns at the entrance area and the colourful glas of the windows gave the house the name.

Prices (in Egyptian Pound), terms of payment:
LE 550 per week, special conditions for longtermed rent on request. The price includes electricity, water and end cleaning. All payments requested in cash after arrival for the whole period of stay in advance, credit carts, cash or traveller cheques can not be accepted. Any foreign currency (no coins!) will be changed according to the daily exchange rates of the Egyptian banks.
