Location and description:
At the edge of the Western Desert in the village Gabawy, behind the "Valley of the Kings", Ronnie Hudson has made one of her dreams come true. Here she' created a place of her own imagination, inspired by the architecture of the pharaonic palaces and temples; adjacent to a garden designed in terraces: "Het Nebet", "House of the Lady". A place far away from the hectic city life and business stress, where she provides not only herself, but also individual tourists with her villa to relax in. "Het Nebet" with its one apartment on the first floor and two single rooms on the ground floor is now completed. Ronnie would like to welcome her guests to her impressive house. Travellers who have a special interest in exploring the amazing monuments of the West Bank, the desert, the mountains and nature; all of it right in front of the door (picture left: view from the ground floor terrace to the desert and the mountains). "Het Nebet" is perfect for visitors who are looking for very different and quiet accommodation for their vacation where they can enjoy a special atmosphere.

Sizes:
Apartment ca. 70 sqm plus 140 sqm roof terrace; guest rooms ca. 20 sqm.

Equipment:
The completely furnished apartment includes a spacious living area with two sleeping facilities, a double bedroom, a kitchen with dining area and a bathroom (small pictures below, first to fifth). The apartment is equipped with everything you need for your holidays, including ceiling fans and a portable air conditioner, an electric cooker and refrigerator. A special feature is the huge roof terrace (140 sqm, see large picture below) with its view of the Theban mountains and the desert. To watch the colourful sunset there or on the groundfloor terrace (the pictures in the last row below show the columned terrace dipped into the red-yellowish light of the last of the sun's rays) will be the highlight of every day.

The entrance door as well as the windows of the two furnished guest rooms (last small picture below) are open to the splendid ground floor terrace with its two rows of columns, which is - like the gardens - open to the guests at any time. The tenants of the two rooms share the bathroom with shower and toilet located between the rooms. On request self-caterers can use the owner's kitchen.

Service:
On request the owner can prepare traditional meals for lunch and dinner for her guests (for a fee). Self-caterers can order their shopping to be done by one of the employees. Mineral water can be purchased on the premises. Cars (taxi or service car) must be ordered in advance by telephone. Bicycles are available.

Prices (in Egyptian Pounds), Terms of Payment:
The apartment costs 800 LE per week, a room on single occupancy 80 LE on double occupancy 100 LE per night incl. breakfast. All payments are required in cash after arrival, unfortunately credit cards or traveller's cheques are not accepted. Foreign currencies (no coins!) will be changed according to the daily exchange rates of the Egyptian banks.
