The house:
"Schöne Aussicht (Belle View)" is the first apartment building on the West Bank with its own name. The idea to give the house a name was an idea of the owner Mubarak Ali Hassan Maki, called Hassan, and the German pensioner (before housekeeper) Helga. She lives in the house, supports the family Maki and is the contact person for German speaking guests.

Step by step Hassan, who lives in the ground floor with his family, built up his house. Very important for him is a very high quality standard of the finishing. Meanwhile the house offers three apartments for rent.

From the balkonies or the roof garden you can have a wonderful view to one side to the agricultural land, across the river Nile to the mountains of the Eastern Desert. To the other side you see palm trees and the mountains of the Western Desert. That's why they choose the name "Belle View". A view, that's really worth to enjoy. On the roof garden you can relax or take a sun bath, and in the newly cultivated garden the family, Hassan or Helga will welcome you for a chat.

"El Arabi"
Well looked-after apartment in the groundfloor. One bedroom with one double and one single bed, Arabic style reception with seat cushions and an additional single bed, all arranged on a podest. Kitchen with refrigerator, gas cooker, sink unit, completely equiped with kitchen tools and dishes (all rooms with ceiling fan), bath room with seat bath tub and shower, electric water heater, toilet separated (ca, 90 sqm).

Apartment "Europe I“
New flat, spacious living-dining room, two bed rooms (one with double bed). Two balconies. Completely equiped kitchen with electric cooker, refrigerator, sink unit. Bath room with tub and shower, toilet and socket matching for European plugs (hair drier, shaver). Ceiling fans, air-condition. (ca. 95 sqm)

Apartment "Europe II"
Living-dining room, two bed rooms with single beds. Complete fitted kitchen with electric cooker, refrigerator, kitchen tools and dishes. Ceiling fans. Bath room with washing machine, seating tub and shower, electric water heater, toilet, socket for European plugs (hair drier, shaver). (85 sqm)

Additional fitment:
In all flats telephone plugs are installed, so you can receive also international calls in privacy in the apartments.

Service:
Mubarak Ali Hassan (he is speaking very good English, can understand and follow simple discussions in German and French) warmly welcomes his guests in the home of his family with a drink and a welcome dinner. On request he takes care for any kind of your shopping wishes. On advanced agreement his wife Fatma can prepare for you daily breakfast or reasonable Egyptian dishes or introduce you in the Egyptian way of cooking. Bed clothes and towels are changed weekly, on request more often. There are enough towels available. Of course, Hassan also can organize for you trips by camel, donkey, horse or bicycle.

Transportation:
Mubarak Hassan operates his own taxi, offers you his airport shuttle. No question that he and his car are available for any trip with his guests. Starting from the public ferry station in El Gezira you can reach the apartments by service car (24 hours in charge) within approximately ten minutes (25 Piaster per person). Attention: Ask the driver for El Ezba, because not all cars go this route and direction, and stopp at "kubry (bridge) El Ezba".

Surrounding::
El Ezba is located amidst the agricultural area, only about three kilometers in distance to the archaeological sites. In the neighbourhood of the apartments you find a butcher, a vegetable shop, a small super market, a pharmacy, a coffee shop with billiard table, and after a two minutes walk the fish restaurant "ZamZam".

Prices (in Egyptian Pound) /Payment terms:

Special conditions for long-termed periods and during the summer season on request. All above prices are including electricity, gas, water and end cleaning. All payments are required cash after arrival, cash or traveller cheques or credit cards are not accepted. Converting of foreign currencies (no coins!) are due to the latest daily exchange rates of the Egyptian banks.
